Kalbass Kreyol’s members embody the spirit of its music—eclectic and unique, with the essence of Haiti at its core. Over the years, the band has comprised of musicians from Haiti, China, the Congo, Puerto Rico, Iran, Trinidad, and the United States. This mélange of culture and musical heritage lends incredible energy and inspiration to Kalbass Kreyol’s original songs and vibrant performances.

Following the devastating earthquakes to hit Haiti in January 2010, the original Haitian band reconvened to support their community and each other, and to use Kalbass Kreyol as a vehicle to raise emergency relief funds for this resilient nation.
